NewRo Runners is a community built on the roads, tracks, and trails of our county. Though our club originally served runners in New Rochelle, our footprint has expanded over the past two decades, and now our weekly runs take us from New Rochelle to Tarrytown.
Whether we’re training for a PR at the track or meeting for a post-run pint, our goal is simple: to make Southern Westchester County the best place to be a runner.
For years, the periwinkle and yellow served us well as we built our community from the ground up. But as NewRo Runners has grown to cover more miles and more of Southern Westchester, we felt it was time for our look to reflect our heritage and the club we've become.
We’ve traded the bright pastels for a regal purple and heritage bone white. This combination honors New Rochelle's history—inspired by the elegance of our city’s roots—while standing out in a sea of neon running gear.
Our new serif wordmark leans into a classic "Collegiate" feel. It’s a nod to the tradition of track and field and to the sport's timeless nature.
French Huguenots fleeing persecution founded New Rochelle in 1688 and adopted the fleur-de-lis in tribute to their heritage. As the Queen City's running club, we've incorporated this symbol into our redesign—honoring where we've been and where we're running.
