Welcome to NewRo Runners.
NewRo Runners is a local running club based in Southern Westchester, NY, with approximatley 200 runners of varying levels and experience from all over Southern Westchester, including New Rochelle, Scarsdale, Larchmont, Mamaroneck, Bronxville, Rye, White Plains, Eastchester, and Yonkers.
The club runs together every Saturday and Sunday morning at 8am, on different routes in Southern Westchester, published in their weekly newsletter, as well as once a week for evening track work.
In June of 2012, NewRo Runners and Sound Shore Runners and Multisport Club merged and will operate under the NewRo Runners name.
NewRo Runners' mission is to bring together runners of all ages and abilities to promote a healthy community, camaraderie and to encourage and support all runners no matter what level of experience. NewRo Runners provides a fun and healthy environment to run in, will challenge even the most experienced runner, and will help those new to running get into a routine with the support of a fun group of runners of similar levels.
NewRo Runners is a member of Road Runners Club of America, a registered team with New York Road Runners and is registered as a 501(c) (3 ) tax exempt non-profit organization.
